The perfect dinner

Cheap, easy and delish. The whole family agrees: I AM THE CROCKPOT QUEEN.

Butter Beef
3 lbs. beef stew meat
1 stick butter
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix

Cook in slow cooker for 8 hours on low or 4-5 hours on high. Serve over egg noodles.

Ooo, that sounds good! I've done the stew meat/Lipton soup mix thing with cream of mushroom soup, but never with butter. Yum!

I just realized that I used an entire cup of butter in last night's dinner. That's not including dessert - just DINNER. Yikes. I really AM trying to kill my husband, apparently.

After reading your blog for many months now, I figured I could trust your judgment (and that of your husband and kid) and attempt this super easy recipe. My husband was out of town so I decided to try it and if it was good save some for him to try to see if I should make it again. OH MY GOD GIRL THIS IS DELICIOUS! I added a can of mushrooms and well freaking amazing. My sister came over to watch American Idol and she had some too and LOVED IT. I'm afraid there is only a teeny tiny bit left over for my husband to try. I bow to Her Magesty, the Crock Pot Queen! Thanks for sharing!

Please feel free to post more of your royal recipes! From here on out I will refer to you as the Queen of Crock Pottery!
